This is what I immediately thought too. If not that, then polo. |
| Another vote for lacrosse |
Ugh. CT sucks. |
| Wait what the heck is a lacrosse mom? Where have I been - please indulge me and tell me what I have been missing lol |
| I knew a little about lax before going to a small, private college. Once I got there, I learned enough about lax to know that it either attracted the snobby db's or it created them. I know our family will be staying far away from it. |
I've never seen a lax mom, that I know of, what do they look like? Serious question, I don't know anyone that plays the sport. |
| Wow! I didn't know this! My 8 year old son wanted to try Lacrosse, is it really so bad?? |
It was invented by the eastern Woodlands Indians in Canada in the 17th Century. |
| As someone that refs both soccer and lax, I can say with certainty that soccer parents are the worst, by far. |
Lacrosse moms dress nice for their kids practice and games. Soccer moms wear sweats and have a diaper bag.
|
| I think baseball parents are much worse than soccer parents. Maybe its all the sitting around the kids do.... |
| Lacrosse, hands down. |
Soccer mom here. I usually have come from my own workout prior so usually in athletic gear. I was a soccer player growing up so it would feel ridiculous to me showing up dressy or in high wedge sandals, etc. I also tend to kick the ball around with my younger child on sidelines, etc. |
| I am from the Annapolis/Severna Park lacrosse scene originally, but in Montgomery County I vote for the ice hockey crowd. |
| You know, I think there are obnoxious parents in every sport. And listening to a friend talk about the AAP scene at her school, it sounds like AAP parents are the same way. Basically there will always be parents that latch on to the thing for which their kids show an aptitude -- be it sports or theater or academics -- and either live vicariously through their kids or helicopter just overhead. |
