I bet you're wrong. These days most people really don't care about the contents of gymmates' underwear. |

Dear Lord. What is this world coming to?
We need to be sure that people FEEL good. We need to help people FEEL included. We need to acknowledge the FEELINGS of others. Damn the FEELINGS of the woman who was shocked to see a man, YES, A MAN, in the woman’s locker room. Planet Fitness will change its policy when some woman is raped in the locker room by a man posing as a transgender person. |
LOL!! Good one! |
My assumption is that anyone going to a gym is there with the sole intent to work-out. When they are in the locker room, I assume they are there to change their clothes. If someone wants to look at other's genitalia, there are plenty of other ways and places to do that. |
You have a very sad, warped, skeptical view of the world and other people. It tells more about you, than others, or any transgender person. |
But you seen overly obsessed from underwear to genitals. |
| Did she see a ding dong |
No, it's more telling of you with your warped comments that someone who would be concerned of a man in a locker room and not knowing their 'history' is hateful. It is you who continually comments on people's crotches and genitals. It is you who is warped when your argument is consistently about genitalia and not about the emotional and mental which is the identity. |
You are not going to miss a man in a women's locker room. Period. |
I'm shocked to see someone wear crocs - doesn't give me the right to dictate where they can and cannot go. If the person isn't harming you (and simply by existing, a transgender person isn't harming you), then you need to get over your weird hangups or make your own changes. And no, the person was not a man, but a transgender woman. Most educated people know that gender resides in the brain; but dinosaurs generally aren't very bright. |
You cannot read someone's mind to know they are transgender. People go by sight especially if a transgender is visually male. Most educated and non-educated people perceive visually. That's a fact. |
Your “shock” about croc shoes is over the top, but yes, a business can dictate where they cannot go. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/health/news/8759694/Crocs-banned-in-hospitals-over-health-and-safety-fears.html Your analogy sucks. |
| Well, I will not be joining Planet Fitness. |
A gender neutral changing room is in order. Simple as that. And I'm sure the transgendered wouldn't mind that either. |
Who is this "people" you're talking about? Thankfully, humanity is evolving regarding antiquated ideas about gender and sexuality. |
