Op here. I actually don't plan to have actual physical intercourse with her. I like the play, and her sendinme pics etc but I don't want to get inside of her. That's a line I won't cross. She's tried to have coffee or grab lunch and I blow it off.

I know I sound like a douchebag but I've been quite nice to her actually. I've listened as she griped about her 20 yr old son who makes bad choices, her issues with her parents and her sister, her loneliness etc. It's surprising how people who seem to have a "ton of friends" are really lonely inside. And when my wife has finished watching Bravo and drank a half bottle of wine before 9:30 and she's snoring like a bulldog sure we have some online fun, but like I said it's only been her sending a few pics. And it's probably made her feel good about herself and her body image.

You commenting on what your wife would think if she ever saw the messages sounds a bit like you were feeling her out for whether she would be willing to take it further. I don't take her comment about her being fragile as a threat, it sounds more like a "I'm not in a good headspace right now, I shouldn't get involved in any kind of mess." Even with the "kiss and tell" stuff, she might have been trying to let you down gently.
