I vote MDX, too.

Love my 4 year old MDX, haven't had any issues or repairs needed. It has 70K miles. Only thing I have done is routine maintenance and new tires and brakes at 65K. Acura took a huge dive in reliability ratings last year, though -- mostly due to technology and entertainment system issues.

Drive the Infiniti before you buy, and try to park it in a parking lot. It's a massive vehicle, so make sure you can handle it.

we just bought our second MDX and love the new model - drives really well, has great gas mileage, and looks great! a little less cargo space than our last one, but the third row is MUCH more useable now.

Has anyone had any luck negotiating with Chevy Chase Acura. Currently trying to cut a deal with them on a 2015 MDX but they are higher than other dealers and don't seem willing to negotiate much. I would like to use them since they are close to where we live which would make maintenance much easier.

I bought mine from them and did all the negotiating online. I test drove beforehand, gave them all the details and sent the email to all the local dealerships. Chevy Chase came in almost the cheapest. I told them what I could get the car for from someone else, and they matched the price. December is a huge month for car sales. You may want to wait a month or two to get the best deal.

I has a ML350. I loved it but it was in the shop all the time. All my friends with the ML or GL have had similar issues. It was so bad that when the warranty was set to expire, DH encouraged me to buy a new car (after saying I'd have th drive the ML for at least 8 years). I know people with an X5 who had the same problem.

This is the last year Lexus is making the GX. Don't buy it if it will bother you to have an obsolete model. The Audi Q7 2016 model will be redesigned.

I'd go for the MDX.

How is the visibility/blind spots and turning radius?

Love our MDX. Love the way it drives. 113,000 miles and no major repairs, just routine maintenance. My eye sometimes wanders to the ML350 and X5, but I hear such awful stories about those cars being in the shop a lot and how expensive they are to maintain - I'd have no patience for that after this great car.
