What are you eating today?

We didn't host thanksgiving so no leftovers here, BOOOOO! So starting from scratch! Just put a pork loin roast in the crockpot with a brown sugar/balsamic vinegar rub. A glaze goes on at the end after its shredded. I'll serve it over rice with Brussels sprouts as a side

Made a quick, no frills turkey tetrazini.

Boil about 3/4 box of spaghetti. Drain and return to pot.

Saute onion and celery in a pan (in butter or olive oil) until turning soft.. Add approx 15 ounces of chicken broth (I had about half of a 32 ounce container of broth left - that is what I used), an 8 oz container of spreadable cream cheese (a block of cream cheese would work too), dash or two cooking sherry, sprinkle in parmesan cheese, a little swiss (I just tore up a piece), shredded/chopped turkey (some peas and mushrooms if you wish). Add mixture to noodles and pour into a greased cooking dish. Top with a mixture of bread crumbs/parmesan cheese. Bake a 350 for 30 minutes.

I snacked all day but my fave creation- tortillas with sliced Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes and blue cheese, cooked like a quesadilla. It was amazing.

I'm in small town western Pennsylvania. I just had a salad that consisted mostly of fries, cheese and fried meat. Waiting to be internet famous with my own 'fatty gorging herself on a buffalo chicken salad' post.

That screams for shiraz, or a really hoppy IPA.

He's nuts. I had this for brunch today. There weren't many brussels sprouts left (they were more lardons and pecans than sprouts), so I had the eggs over those plus some of the cornbread stuffing, and a few french fries from last night's meal out. Awesomeness.

Yesterday was Thanksgiving leftovers (yum, yum!) , but it triggered this incredible hankering for good ol' Indian comfort food today - so....

Chicken curry, dal, fried okra, peas pulao, tomato-onion-cucumber salad for lunch.
