Halloween dinner

DH hates pizza unfortunately so I'm doing pulled pork in the slow cooker. Unfortunately, he's bitching about that too. DD can eat before they head out for ToT and then he and I can eat once she's in bed.

I've had chili every Halloween since I was a small child. That's what I'll be eating.

I always make pizza bread on Haloween. Dough (purchased refrigerated, I don't make my own) stretched into a rectangle, add mozz and whatever fillings you like (nothing too wet - if you use spinach or mushrooms, you need to drain/squeeze out all the liquid). Roll up to make a long roll, tuck the ends under. Brush with an egg wash. Bake until golden, maybe 30-45 minutes at something like 375 (I just wing it). Cool a little or a lot, and cut diagonal slices, thin or thick as you prefer. Very adaptable to whatever you like, and easy to eat on the go.

I have to make gluten free pizza/dough. Basically have 30 minutes to bake and eat since the school is having a party and we don't get out till 5pm. Hopefully, no delays in the commute home. I think i'll just order at lunch and carry out and take home.

Why is he complaining about pulled pork? What did he plan/shop/cook?

Is this the poster who started a thread that her husband did not want a "sweet side to pulled pork?" (He sounds like a PITA.)
