Why do women show cleavage?

Because we can.

Also, there's showing cleavage and SHOWING CLEAVAGE. It's not all the same.
Anonymous
Because it's pretty.

Not at all, just wondered what the thinking was. I thought it was head games. I'm seeing it's just practical. Thank you for responding.

Sometimes it's because that's just the way the top fits, other times it's because we like to look good and show it off. I don't have big breasts, but I like to show cleavage every now and then because, like a PP said, it looks pretty.

Lol I'd love to see what OP wears everyday since she thought showing cleavage was "playing mind games"

Most of the time? It's because these god#$%^ designers only make clothes fit for A-B cup models.

Finding good fitting tops is so hard for women compared to men.

You need width around armpits, shoulder width, boob width, chest width below boobs, waist width, etc. etc. has to match just right to look good.

If you got natural cleavage, your fit either makes you look like a vamp or moo moo loose.

At least that's how I feel sometimes. /vent

Maybe OP didn't know how to spell bosom.

I would HATE to have huge boobs. So much harder to dress and to look classy.

Eh I love having big boobs. Once you know what works for you, it's pretty easy to dress cute and not look trashy.

Same here. And a turtle neck just makes them look that much bigger anyways. I'm also not ashamed or uncomfortable of my big boobs, so you all just have to deal with my cleavage.
same here. I've pretty much stopped buying v-neck shirts for this reason, but sometimes even crew neck shirts are problematic. I work with kids and try not to have my boobs hanging out all over the place, but there's only so much you can do.
