Did this in June. Heaven!

Thanks, all! We were thinking Komi too, so thanks for confirming that's a good choice. Sounds like we'll need to be patient and diligent about getting a reservation though.

Fiola Mare. Ask for a window table.

We went to Komi for a similar night and were not impressed at all.

Oh no! Really? Why was the experience below expectations? Where would you recommend we go?

Odyssey dinner cruise

Well played.

Definitely Inn at Little Washington if you don't mind the drive home. Amazing!

Otherwise, Bourbon Steak. I had a terrible experience at Komi.

Komi was delicious but I burped goat for days.

We had an anniversary dinner at Bourbon Steak and I didn't especially enjoy it. It seemed more like a place a salesperson would take a client if s/he were trying to impress the client by simply spending a ton of money. I certainly don't mind dropping a lot of money for a fantastic meal, but my experience at Bourbon Steak was not fantastic.

I hated Komi. If you like steak, look into BLT Steak. Also, one of my favorite places is Siroc. Wonderful!

People recommend Obelisk a lot. I haven't been. Marcel's would fit the bill.

Bourbon is blah. Komi is awesome but if you're not into multiple courses and prefer to choose your own food, you won't like it.

The Oval Room just reopened after a renovation. Anyone who's been, please report.

That would allow a nice walk across Lafayette Park afterward, for drinks or dessert on top of the W. (Call and get a reservation for that, if you want a good seat with the view.)

I am a Mortons fan!

Morton's is terrible now. Totally downhill since Landry's bought them. It's like wedding banquet food.
