These names are just so trashy and ghetto.

Wow. And you are quite a rich white snob.

I prefer Gianluca; Corrado Is pretty heavily identified with the Sopranos, although it won't be when your son is an adult.

Also,

Alessandro
Luciano
Bartolomeo
Federico
Stefano
and a second vote for Lorenzo

I like Gianluca. I like the way it looks and it is not hard to pronounce. I am not Italian BTW.

Domenick and Leo are two of my favorites and also family names.

I love Cataldo and Dominic (also family names for us). Corrado is great but you are right people will nickname him Cory.

Not gonna lie, though, I'm a huge Star Trek fan and would probably go with Gianluca Luca is a great nickname.

I am thinking that with this up in coming generation it won't be a big deal though?? I also agree Gianluca seems hard to pronounce but its really not...John-Luca. I worry Corrado will get shortened to Cory which I really don't care for. Keep the suggestions coming!

I think either name is fine and I prefer names with a family connection. (I never saw the Sopranos, so not everyone will have that immediate reference.)
