Our HHI is $190k and we spend anywhere from $3-5K/yr on travel and vacations. Family of 4. We enjoying traveling and if we had more money we would travel more.

15K per year- family of three. We take one big summer vacation (a cruise or a nice resort) and a few out of town trips to other cities (Chicago. Seattle, etc.)
Is HHI before taxes? If so, we're at about 350K. Otherwise, I estimate about 240K.
Travel is horribly expensive- especially of you want to stay in a decent hotel. If a time comes when we can't afford it, I would plan a staycation each year. A week of local fun, participation mandatory.

More than I'd like to -- airfares have just stabilized a lot higher than they used to be, and multiply that by 5 and it's not pretty.

I think one thing we are definitely grateful for is the web has made it a lot easier to rent nice apartments; I hate to imagine what a full service hotel would run us.

Anyway, I'd sooner take the kids away then replace my aging but paid for, car. But I am grateful to be able to make that choice.

HHI is $160k, and we spend about $2k. We do one camping trip over Memorial Day, then one week off in the Summer. This year, we are going to Massanutten Resort. Then we drove for one long weekend to see family in Ohio.

About $6000 this year. I do not consider visiting family for a long weekend a vacation. We do that a few times as well. Some years it is closer to $10,000 but that is only every four or five years or so.

HHI of 200k, we spend 4-5k on holiday travel & little mini vacations on 3 day weekend in years that we stay domestic. I have ILs abroad, so when we travel to see them, it's more like 7-8k.

We probably spend <$1k but that's because we are always broke. It's nice to spend some time away and do things together even if it means hours in the car and staying with friends/relatives.

HHI is about 450 - i think we probably spend about 10 - 15k annually - 2 kids.

HHI: 330K, vacations, about 15K. family of four. This is one ski, one summer vacation and several weekends in NYC etc. this doesn't count family trips.
