Kind of, yes |
All the Lexis I know are Alexandras. I think it's a cute nickname, but I wouldn't use it as a formal name. |
It kind of is, which is why I hope my daughter Alexandra doesn't change her nickname to that when she gets older. |
I have never met a stripper named Lexi.
I have met a stripper named Michelle, and a stripper named Joanna. People on DCUM have weird ideas about predestination. |
+1 |
I love the nickname Lexi. |
What is wrong with being a stripper? |
Nothing. Strippers can make a lot of money. (Dateline had a special about it.) DCUM loves money, right? If I was 30 lbs thinner, 10 years younger, and the least bit coordinated my student loans would be paid off. |
Sexy lexi |
I don't think so |
Your husband must personally know a stripper named Lexi. |
No, but it does sound like a nickname. |
My test was imagining it on the top of a resume - these things change of course, but I certainly don't think of it as a name that will strike employers as professional in 25 years. But Alexandra is fine, with Lexi as a nickname.

Or Alexis. |
Do not like the name Lexi. Sounds too much like a car. |
