Fruit is not low carb. Atkins has a range of low carb desserts. My fav is the chocolate brownie with nuts.

I bought some sugar free chocolate from World Market yesterday. I think that the brand Guylian and they have both milk and dark chocolate. I bought the milk chocolate and it's delish!

While fruit always has some carbs, berries have relatively few. Many people on lower carb diets (South Beaçh, the latter stages of Atkins, plans for Type 2) can fit berries into their diet.l

No kidding! Low fat does not equal low carb, people! Almost every suggestion is loaded with sugar.

try one of these:

5 or 6 raspberries
10 grams or less of very dark chocolate
small spoonful of almond butter
pecans roasted in lots of butter (my personal favorite)

or any of the above with a small amount of freshly whipped, unsweetened heavy cream

or make raspberry cheesecake popsicles (fresh or frozen raspberries, cream cheese, sour cream, heavy cream, vanilla extract - blended and frozen in popsicle molds)

Apple pie with butter pecan ice cream and a drizzle of carmel sauce. Great low carb dessert on the go.

In what way? Gobs of honey, agave nectar and maple syrup aren't low carb.

OP, there aren't many. But google around, they do exist, but they're chemically delicious to replace the carbs. Otherwise: berries, dark chocolate or whipped cream.

Apple pie with ice cream? Are you slow or just trolling?

OP didn't say how low carb he/she desires, so I automatically went for the super low options.

Anyway, OP I also mix my favorite chocolate flavored protein powder (4 grams of carbs per scoop) with unsweetened vanilla almond milk or water. You can make more of a smoothie texture by blending with ice.

ha ha- some people need to relearn what a carbohydrate is....

When we did South Beach, I really couldn't stand any of the dessert / cheesecake recipes that called for artificial sweetener. I love my diet Coke, but artificial sweetener in a baked good just does not work for me. Our go-to low carb desserts, as approved by the South Beach book, were sugar free Jell-O pudding and no sugar added Fudgcicles. If I liked Jell-O, I would have eaten sugar-free Jell-O, but I associate it with being sick / in the hospital.

For something entirely natural, I'd go with fresh berries (I believe blueberries are lowest in sugar, but I could be wrong) with real whipped cream (no sugar added to it). Of course that's not carb-free, but the carbs are healthy ones.

Fruit has carbohydrates, of course, but fresh fruit also has fiber and other nutrients and is totally unprocessed. I love fresh berries with a little frozen Greek yogurt. Not carb-free, but a better glycemic index because of the fiber and protein.

What? Jellybeans are pretty much 100% sugar (i.e. 100% carbs)
