Frozen peas (steam them in the microwave) tossed with olive oil, lemon juice, basil, salt & pepper. (Full disclosure, I got this recipe from Gwyneth Paltrow's goop enewsletter!)
Green beans, steamed and tossed with 1 tbs olive oil, 1 tsp prepared mustard, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp italian seasoning. Asparagus, tossed with salt and garlic powder and roasted, then squeeze some lemon on it before serving. This isn't cooked, but sometimes I'll cut an avocado into small pieces and toss them with garlic powder, salt, and lemon juice. |
