2. Lived together 6 months before marrying.

Dated: 3.5 years
Then lived together: 1/2 a year
Ages: DH - 29, DW - 25.
Also of some importance - First child was 3 years after we got married.

I think taking it pretty slow like that has been pretty instrumental to building a solid foundation for our marriage. We had 7.5 - 8 years of growing together before we added the stress of a kid.
