Love that you see yourselves as the victims.... Maybe the new forum we really need should be called "Safe Place for Atheists"? LOL |
OMG if you post that pie chart one.more.time we should give you your own forum for it! |
What? This is the first time I've ever posted the pie image. But I suppose I'm glad that it rings familiar for you? |
even mentioning non-belief is taken as forcing. Let's face it, you can't force anything on anyone on an internet forum. If you don't like what you are reading, just stop paying attention to it. |
Why do you let it bother you? perhaps you like getting into it with atheists??? |
I think pp was being sarcastic. |
| Merricans, you are funny! |
I agree with this. Some some people are snarky, for others, even the mere mentioning of different ideas, or thought-provoking questions is considered mocking, or forcing atheism, or considered hateful. Some people are just over the top sensitive and get hyper defensive at any kind of critical theological or historical inquiry. |
|
Meh. The taint of victimhood is clearly there. |
When all you can do is repeat the same old snark, you bore everybody to death and you do nothing to advance the conversation. Can't you get some better material? Some better material would make talking with you much more interesting. |
Agreed. OP smells strongly of it. |
No. It means: - regaling us with why you're an atheist on the thread about which church/synagogue to attend - regaling us with why you're an atheist on the thread about Sunday schools - regaling us with why you're an atheist on the thread about interfaith marriages - regaling us with why you're an atheist on the thread about prayer - ranting about Exodus on the Jesus thread - and so much more. I'm in the camp that thinks a separate forum won't stop any of this, because some of you just want to stir the pot and pick fights. But BTW, why do atheists talk about themselves so much? It seems kinda self-absorbed and it's not very interesting. |
Agreed. OP smells strongly of it. What DCUM REALLY needs to do is upgrade its atheists. Some of you are about as creative and funny as old socks. |
Reposting for format:
I mean the highly disengenous person who posted purported "scholarly archeological evidence" from 2000 and pretended to ignore more recent archeological evidence that debunked those theories and the several other scholars who compared the guy from 2000 getting a grant for science to Saddam Hussein winning the nobel peace prize. Not to mention, why was that disruptive poster talking about Exodus on a thread about Jesus. That's the highly disengenous and disruptive poster I'm referring to. |
