I have sore boobs and super tired but I have read those are often caused by higher levels of progesterone from taking the nightly shots. The only really suspicious pain is that round ligament pain or sharp stabbing pain in my lower right abdomen when I roll the wrong way in bed. I had that early on in another pregnancy- I'm not sure what that means but I don't remember having it on any of my negative cycles.
I agree though with most that you are pumped full of hormones during 2 week wait and also way down on exercise and not drinking caffeine, so all the symptoms could easily be attributed to those things probably. I'm 6 days past a 5 day transfer.

If you are now 7dp5dt, they should be okay bringing you in within the next 1-2 days for your beta. There is no reason to have to wait until 14dp5dt.

I had no discernible symptoms with either IVF pregnancy and very purposefully avoided doing any pregnancy tests at home. I guess I had pretty much decided the second was a BFN as I had just ordered a margarita at lunch when the RE's office called.

Good luck, OP. It is the longest two weeks of your life.

The reason they make you wait until the equivalent of 18dpo is because at that point, the likelihood you are getting the correct result is essentially 100% - there's less than 1% chance of false results at that point. Bringing someone in any earlier, increases the chances of a false result or putting a person through an unnecessary beta hell. It's long, long, long wait, but worth it if you think of it that way.

(Success ment'd)

I ignored all physical symptoms during my TWW (FET), except for a pain very similar to the one you are describing. It was one I had never felt before, not even during a normal cycle, and the best I could describe it was almost like a gas pain in my uterus - or like someone was blowing my uterus up like a balloon for a few seconds. I wouldn't call it a cramp, but it was more of a stretching/tightening sensation, but EXACTLY in my uterus (at the time, about four fingers up and slightly to the right from my pubic bone.) I felt that pain fairly consistently 2dp5dt - 6dp5dt, then sporadically since and I just knew it had worked the first time I felt it - it was too specific and different. I'm currently 5w4d and I really only feel it now when I shift weirdly in bed or twist oddly.

I disagree, but I think it's a matter of personal preference. Personally I would rather know what is going on. Being in the dark, thinking of worst case scenarios is no fun either. I just think anything in the 14dpo range is fair game. That's what it was with our timed intercourse and IUI cycles, and that's what I requested with IVF as well.

I definitely agree with you, in that it's a personal preference sort of thing. I hated the wait, but much preferred the concreteness of my answer at that point, as opposed to testing feverishly up until then or going in much earlier. But of course I also know people who wanted to know the first second they could, etc. It's different for everyone! I was just laying out I guess the more scientific/hard-and-fast reason the clinic structures it the way they do.

I hear you! Although the not testing at home thing is a foreign concept to me, I hear there are people who manage to do it.

Haha, I am one of those mythical beings. I didn't test for either of the cycles I went through, because I felt that it would just increase my anxiety. I worried too much about getting an early positive and it being a chemical or getting an early negative and just going headlong into depression until the test date.

PP I wish I had your strength, I've given in on all 3 of my IVF cycles and started testing 8dp5dt. First, cycle was a + at that point but turned into chem pg, second was BFN, and third has been + and I'm going in for official beta in a.m.

I'm sorry to hear about your first two cycles, but (an early) congrats on your third! I think it's so hard for those of us who go through the infertility struggle because we can't really "enjoy" pregnancy like those who get pregnant naturally. Every milestone, including even the very first of getting a positive beta, just creates more anxiety because there is so much weighing on success.

I had an FET done last Tuesday and my embryo fully hatched at time of transfer. A couple of days later, I started to feel cramp like symptoms. I haven't felt any other symptoms but this week, my boobs are feeling sore and my lower back is aching. I tried to not POAS but I did on Fathers day which was 5dp5dt and had a faint line. I couldn't help it and told my husband. I tested again the following day and still a faint. My beta is this Saturday coming up. I am praying that everything is on the positive side.

During my fresh IVF, I did get pregnant and was about 6weeks or so along but during my first u/s, the heartbeat was slow and the fetus barely grew. Second u/s, the fetus stopped growing completely and no heartbeat. I am hoping that I will have a healthy pregnancy with this cycle.

I wish all of the ladies best of luck and for the tww to fly and we all get the results we all have been wishing for
