Upscale women do you now buy clothes for yourself at Target?

Maybe. But I never wear the same outfit twice so quality is not a big concern for me.

Really? Things like crooked stitching and mismatched seams are noticeable whether you wear the piece once or a thousand times. As is cheap material.

I think it's obvious when there is a poor fit. Moms trying to squeeze into dresses made for teens/early 20s. Tough to pull off.

Target clothes frequently have seams that aren't straight and buttonholes that are off-kilter. The fit is also off on many of them.

That stuff shows even on a first wearing.

When you are in excellent shape you are able to pull off cheap/thin/clingy fabric. I have not seen crooked stitching or mismatched seams when I wear the clothes. Maybe they don't flatter you?

Target clothes don't flatter anyone.

I find some of their clothes to be attractive in the store but overall, I find them to be a bit off in terms of fit and drape. I've bought a couple of things in a pinch that I've worn once or twice. Overall, it feels cheaply made. I consider it to be disposable clothing.

Most uncomfortable bras ever made. And yes, people notice the cheap clothes you got from Target. signed, I see you at the Club.

Some things from there look cheap, but I have several cardigans that are great and look like new despite extensive wear. They have outlasted my higher end stuff. Their work out clothes are excellent quality too.

However, I'm not a high end woman and couldn't care less what club people think of me.

Yes. Disposable. Exactly. Wear it once, discard. Never wear the same thing twice. Some may not like that quality, to me it is a real selling point.

I see no point in spending $300 on a pair of jeans - I don't want to wear them, wash them over and over and over again. How tedious.

The body makes the clothes. The clothes do not make the body.

That is just delusional. There is a huge difference between a well-constructed dress and a dress from target. One will make the wearer look better. The other will be ok, but don't kid yourself that people can't see the poor quality.

Upscale woman here...I love my jeans from Target! They flatter my body, and are well made. I could easily drop $250 on a "better" brand, but see no need.
