Game of Thrones new season

I can't wait for Cersei to get her's. She is emerging as the one to hate. Last night gave her a great start.

Me too! Seeing it played out was oh so satisfying. Plus, I think the recreation on screen was much better than how I had imagined it.

There were scenes in last night's show that I hadn't remembered from the book. Like the meal in which Jeffrey received the gifts and used the valerian steel sword he got from his grandfather to cut up the book he got from Tyrion. What a great scene. It could have been that I glossed over it in the book just trying to find out what happened next. What a great scene!

Yes, it was so very satisfying. THere is another bit of satisfaction still to come and I.can't.wait.

I don't remember the cannibal wildlings from the books. They are creepy.

I am also anticipating the maneuvering between Cersei and Margery in upcoming seasons.

They have made her much nicer and smarter than in the book.

Who was that who whispered to Sansa that she needs to leave? Whose glass/wine was poisoned? Were they trying to kill Sansa? Why?

I haven't read the books, this is just my guess - the cake was poisoned, not the wine. I'm guessing his wife's side planned it all along. No way would that grandmother allow her to stay married to him. Just my guess (also based on grandmothers comments to Sans right before it about killing people at weddings.

The person who whispered to Sansa was Sir Dontos.

Great insights about the cake and whodunit. You are so right about the comments of the grandmother foreshadowing all of this. Including all the fuss she made about "paying for everything". It looks like Tyrion is going to have a tough time of it for awhile.

The grandmother did it.

His name is Tommen, and he's the king now. He was at the wedding; it looked like he was recast and got an Age lift.

Anyone who hasn't read all of the books should stay away from ANYTHING Game of Thrones online. Invariably some asshole will post a spoiler (it's already happened upthread).

The badass grandmother did it, she put poison in Sensa's hair or hair piece. How it was transferred I am still trying to figure out, but my guess is grandmother plays with Sensa's hair, Sensa touches her hair, touches the wine glass when she hands it to Tyrian. Boom. Or grandmother touched senses hair where she gets the poison, then takes it back to her seat and puts it in the wine when no one notices.

Yes. So good that I actually bought the book so I could see what happens next.

I just watched last night's episode tonight. Love Jamie Lannister's loyalty to his brother. Are he and John Snow the only honorable characters now?
