My husband make 200k for 40-45hrs /wk. Plus great benefits. but he's very specialized inhouse lawyer. Incredibly specialized (ie JD+ Masters in the specialized field). Cush job. He's the "junior" one in his office by 15yrs, so he's at the "bottom" of the salary/bonus scale now, hopefully will grow soon. He realizes how lucky he is.

I wish he could work a little more, accept more responsibility, for better pay!

Don't you like your husband, or would you rather seem him gone 70 hours a week and making (maybe) $130k?

I work 40 hours a week for $102k

+2. I'm paid below market (though well) and haven't gotten more than a token bonus in years.

My husband makes 180K and because of our schedule with the nanny etc., usually gets in at 9:30 and leaves at 5:30-5:45 most nights, so I guess that is about 40 hours. That said he rarely takes a real lunch (will grab something and eat at desk) and he does sometimes get online at home for short bits of time.

I have stricter expectations, and really am supposed to be here from 8:30 - 5:30.
