Poe MS principal and her former finance person charged with embezzlement

What I can't figure out is why the School Board member's comment to the Post was to go on and on about how wonderful this principal is. Umm, it seems there is enough evidence of wrongdoing to support charges. Maybe a little concern for the possible embezzlement would have been more appropriate.

Exactly. And I would bet my paycheck that as a school board member, she was given all the details prior to the arrest and public release of information. FCPS has been investigating this for over a month. This isn't some rash decision that may later turn out to be wrong when we hear the principal's side of things.

Not surprising. Sandy operates on emotions--not numbers. Although, she does scream "science" about Sleep. That is her main issue.

I've had a few dealings with various School Board members over the years, and Sandy Evans has struck me as one of the best - reasonable, committed and very responsive.

In this case, she may have reacted emotionally, but I think she was also sending a message to the Poe community that she has their back and that, from all outward signs, this was a good principal. People in the Annandale/Poe pyramid may want to hear that, because otherwise this is a pyramid that FCPS has screwed over repeatedly in recently years by moving higher-income neighborhoods to other schools, including Frost/Woodson and Lake Braddock. To have your principal arrested for embezzlement obviously is painful for a lot of people.

Check out Sandy Swansblahblah's hives covering her neck and chest...stress hives. And, what's up with that horrendous eye makeup? That money couldn't buy her a Lancome consult?

I am not surprised by frauds happening in FCPS administration. They abuse their power so much, anything is possible.
