Is anyone who has ever worked with an IT Dept at ALL surprised that the web site didn't work the way it's supposed to? Whether GTA or the Exchange. It's SNAFU.

Honey it just ain't Ted Cruz ( let me qualify that I too, hate the tea party and wish they would go away) saying these things. Look at my above post. Obamacare is going to be disastrous for our already ailing economy. We just cannot sustain the additional costs to our HUGE debt. Or don't you libs care about future generations?

Not really. It took a couple of years to stabilize our web site to the point that we could run for a week without some major incident. That is a multi-billion dollar per year revenue source for the company so it was not for the lack of trying.

We won't know true cost of ACA until next October. Look for greater sticker shock than this year.

Meanwhile, in the reality-based community: Even with the problems in the federal exchanges, 185,000 people have signed up so far and that's the small fraction that's been reported by the states.

I know watching the tea party wing of the GOP utterly, and completely capitulate to Pelosi, Reid, and Barry O must've been very painful and frustrating for you to watch, but you're probably going to want to get used to it. It's really the tip of the iceberg. The "sheeple" have taken over the country, and Real Americans like yourself are going to increasingly be a powerless minority. Thank God.

Problem is, there are no "additional costs to our HUGE debt." The CBO has already scored the ACA and it's pretty much the only proposed solution that bends the healthcare cost curve downward. Finally, we don't have a HUGE debt. On the heels of the greatest economic recession since the 30s, we're leveling off at around 80% debt to GDP.

Problem is that CBO bases its conclusions on the information it is given. Many false assumptions in this estimate.

As far as I could tell, none of your links had any numbers. Also, Chicago Tribune is a conservative newspaper. CNN and CBS are mainstream news sources. I am a lunatic leftist. None of those are "my side".
