Op here: another month bfn

I'm so so sad.

OP, I'm sorry you did not conceive this cycle. Try to take a deep breath, relax, and remind yourself that you don't have anything to be sad about. It is not the norm to conceive as amazingly easily as you did the first two times. The norm is 6-12 months. Good luck to you!

I'm 36 and have been ttc #2 going on 7 months. I feel your disappointment!

So it's longer when you're older? Meaning if you're 28 it ought go take 3 months, but if you're 36/37 it should take how many?

Do you have any links?

I think a RE is premature. There's no reason to believe there's a problem, ESP when clearly ovulating, having had 2 kids, structurally everything fine, etc.

OP do not be alarmed. A perfectly healthy couple has a 20% chance of pregnancy with well timed intercourse each month. Some tips the PPs have mentioned are very good. The robitussin worked for us on month 3 this time. You have no reason to think anything is wrong at this point but set yourself a deadline you and your DH are comfortable with. If you aren't pregnant by then, talk to your OB.

When did you take the robitussin? And mucinex is the same thing right?

I am the pp who said I am 36 and have been trying for 7 months. I also do not ovulate regularly (or basically at all) on my own. So I barely even count these past few months. Working on a few things to induce ovulation with my ob before moving on to an re

Op here. I'm sorry. Thankfully I'm pretty sure I am. That's got to be frustrating. Good luck to you...

Thanks op. It's beyond frustrating. I feel like
I'm not even in the game yet

At 36, if you have been trying for 7 months then it might be a good idea to consult an RE.You will be reassured if everything is fine, and if there are issues it is better to address them early. Your DH could also have some basic tests done, if they have not been done already.
Wish you good luck!
