Very funny ... and true. |
Sounds like the feedback is backfiring. |
Wait, are we hinting at 11. You only like 2.0 because you are too naive to know any better? |
It's common sense (and a fact) that parents of kids who have been through both are obviously equipped to compare and contrast, whereas newbie parents are not. |
I don't mind the curriculum, I hate new report card. |
Here come the haters!!!!!! |
So what? Having pre and post 2.0 experience doesn't make 2.0 objectively bad. Maybe these folks would have liked the other curriculum better, maybe not. That doesn't mean their positive opinions of 2.0 are not valid. |
Great, bring on the data and feedback then. Publish it all. Marketing sound-bytes are for lemmings. |
Ours said 2.0 es muy bueno. |
No, no, you're doing it wrong. That is not a DCUM 2.0 item. That is a DCUM Montgomery County item. (Also a WTOP Montgomery County item.) |
You forgot to add the part about actual test scores since 2.0 started had one of the sharpest declines in the state. http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2013-07-23/local/40863179_1_state-test-maryland-schools-passing-rate |
Nope, nothing new here. That goes under
3. Starr is an idiot. and 9: 2.0 was totally the implementation of Montgomery County and there is nowhere else in the country that is teaching any standard that in any way resembles the standards of 2.0. |
The one true benefit of 2.0 has been the boon to the tutoring industry in Montgomery County (e.g., Kaplan, Princeton Review, Kumon, C-2 educate, private). The 2 billion dollar MCPS motor is now driving the private tutoring and enrichment sector.
This is the silver lining for the local economy. |
4. My child is not beng challenged, therefore, 2.0 should be eliminated for all children. |
4.5) My child is not being challenged by 2.0 and therefore should advance to 3.0 |
