Can someone recommend an inexpensive but reputable place to get Botox? I've had it before and LOVED it, but at $400 per treatment area it seemed a little steep.

I swear I almost bought the Victoria Principal cream after watching an infomercial!! Has anyone tried the Loreal Revitalift? What about Clarins? A friend of mine raves about it.

I'm really in the same boat... can't afford regular Botox and a bit frightened of it so I'm looking for a really good cream.

for botox, try Papillon in Rockville---it's a medspa located on the ground floor of a very good plastic surgery practice. They often run "bring a friend" botox specials.

Have had botox 3 times over last 6 years (am 42). Big fan of it if used very sparingly to avoid "frozen" look. I had a forehead wrinkle that I really, really hated. Botox relaxed the wrinkle and made it much less noticeable. Not sure that anyone but me would ever have noticed, but it made a big difference to me. Yeah, I know its vain---but I've never worn much makeup and figured the cost was balanced out over time by what I don't spend at the Nordstrom's makeup counter.

Yes on Botox. Dale Isaacson, downtown. He's a dermatologist. I'm afraid to go the those spa places. Was totally fine. Going back Friday for my second one. They give you a little rewards card (botox that is), so my second one will be $375, not $400. It lasted completely for about 3.5 to 4 months. I would be fine with where it is now except that I know the wrinkles are going to get worse if I don't get it again. I had it for those mom frown wrinkles in the forehead, plus a little around the brows. This time I may add a little more and do it under my eyes (I get these really hideous wrinkles under my eyes when I smile). Everyone says I look great and well rested (ha ha ha - right, with a three year old chrionic night visitor), and I'm 42.

Where did you have it injected?

I'm the Dale Isaacson patient from above. I had it between the brows, a little around the brows (to cure drooping) and under my eyes. The first time I went I just did between the brows and a little around the brows. This time it was more because I used more - ran $600. I am very happy with the result. It still looks pretty natural, so people are surprised if I tell them I had it (only close friends, of course; I don't tell anyone else).

This thing is magic for red tired eyes. You'll be suprised at what a difference it makes overall. I am totally addicted...

Get Restylane ASAP. My sister got it around her eyes (after trying Botox months before) and her mouth, and she looks like a million bucks. I never thought I'd go for something like that, but now I am desperate to do it. She went from looking like a tired mom of three to looking like she got 10 hours of sleep a night and spent every day at a spa.

Where did your sister go for this? I would love to go somewhere for it too.

Also, is anyone game for the place a PP recommended above that's offering the bring a friend discount?? I'd love to save money too!!

Drooping brows, yes. Not sure about eyelids. You would have to ask a doc.
