Ole Miss has a beautiful campus and Oxford is neat little town. My son graduates in the spring. He has loved his time at Ole Miss!

A rebelette? Vomit

I suppose you have the confederate flag in your house? Classy.

So the Ole Miss posters respond with helpful, friendly advise and this was your response? Yet you say, "keep it classy"? Priceless.

NP here, and I agree. What part of the helpful Ole Miss responses, dear vomiting poster, do you feel justified your rude answer?

It's number 151. Alabama is #77 if that puts it into some perspective.

I'm in a field in academic research. We rarely see Ole Miss people presenting research at conferences, though we do see plenty from Mississippi State. That said, I've worked with Ole Miss faculty and they've always been a pleasure to work with.

Oh, OP. You've pretty much failed as a parent if your son wants to go to Ole Miss.

Do you mean "advice"? Is that part of the Ole Miss education?

I think any school that uses a Nazi flag (or whatever) and is proud of it, really isn't somewhere I'd allow my child to go.

So basically he just wants to get drunk and lynch black people? You must be so proud.

OP -- why would you pay $$ for your child to go out of state to Ole Miss when there are better options in-state. And, if you're in DC...you can get the TAG $ + have a number of choices.

So much ignorance. This is the Ole Miss flag-

Not seeing the "Nazi" connection. The old Rebel flag has been banned from the stadium for a very long time.

Psst- The University has a very diverse student population and has received numerous national awards for its work in race relations.
