Dude, if an In and Out came within 300 miles of here, I'd drive there once a month. And I'm not even a West Coast native.

Eat and Park. Despite the large number of high HHI families on DCUM, there are still a lot of middle and lower income families in the area who could use a good inexpensive alternative to Denny's...and one where kids under 5 eat free.

What ever happened to the wagamama that was going to open in Penn Qtr? I've only been the London one - and I still remember it from my summer at UCL in 2000. The new Bahn mi/pho shop in Glover Park will have to suffice for now although Rice Bar downtown at 18th and K also does a good job with noodles.

DC needs neighborhood taco shops like I had in Chicago.
Also a sandwich place like Hanna's Bretzel (not a typo) from Chicago.

Unfortunately the Southern cooking is way too heavy for us. Plus, I'm a Pittsburgh boy, so this is a taste of home to me (unless Primanti Bros want to open up shop in the area, but then I'd gain like 30 lbs).

I love Primanti Brothers! Sandwiches are so, so good.
