You think Google did it to deliberately piss off Christian Fundamentalists, vs posting it specifically to honor Cesar Chavez?

Christians aside, why the hell would anyone want to honor Chavez?

Do you feel the same way about Dr. King? Or Ghandi?

Or, are you just a run-of-the-mill Internet twatwaffle who doesn't know about what she posts?

I'm guessing you're the latter: The worst sort of Internet user, who I usually scrape off the bottom of my shoe, like the dog shit I occasionally step in.

I'm not a huge union supporter.

But I'm sure you nonetheless take their contributions for granted.

i didnt realize that a search engine and what they did was so important to our every day lives.

i get that it would have been wiser to commemorate easter in some way, but i pretty much didnt wake up yesterday anxious to run to google and check out what their doodle for easter would be. on top of that, my day wasnt ruined because a search engine choose not to pay honor to jesus and his resurrection.

get over it people. again, this is a search engine we are talking about.

That said, I would venture that the observation of a holiday observed by hundreds of millions worldwide is probably more significant than the birthday of a minor regional figure.

I agree with this 100%!

Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

America turns away from this message every single day.

You'd be surprised at how many people do give a high percentage of their wealth to the poor.
Turning it over to the government is not the same.

I think you are incorrect with your statement. If you belong to a church that doesn't acknowledge Jesus' message for Christians to live their lives in a way that glorifies God by doing for others, showing kindness and mercy, and generously helping those in need, I can assure you there are many of them that do make it their focus.

It kind of is, since the government generally does a better job helping the poor than most charities.

That was a personal message to that individual that claimed to follow the commandments (which nobody but Christ has ever done) Christ was illustrating to the man that he was breaking a commandment and that he needed a savior since the man went sadly away afraid to give up his safety and trust god . To the homosexual Christ would have said give up your sodomy and follow me!

Obviously not. The government is broker than a homeless man on the corner by 16 trillion dollars.
