I have the most silly ridiculious recipe for beef stew. It it a complete foodgasm. I do the option with red wine and mushrooms. I serve it over mashed potatoes. BTW, this is also my go to guest meal. I do ALL the prep before the guests arrive and plan to have the stew come out of the oven shortly after the guest arrive and let it sit for about 30 minuets before serving. I make ahead mashed potatoes and keep them warm in the crock pot. It is wonderful, all I do is enjoy their company.

A huge pot of chili is simmering in the dutch oven.

Beef Jerky is marinating and will go in the dehydrator tomorrow.

I've made blackberry financiers to snack on. Grilled cheese and soup for lunch. DH actually ran out last night to make sure we have enough wine! Maybe pasta for dinner.

Banana pancakes, eggs, bacon for breakfast. Made subs for lunch with salami, turkey, and the leftover bacon. Teriyaki salmon and aspargus for dinner.

I need to go outside and play in the almost-snow.

Grilled cheese with fruit for lunch.

Beef stew is in crockpot for dinner (which the kids may not eat).

Baked chicken calzone for lunch. Spaghetti and meatball soup for dinner.

My God! Does this mean it's .... artisanal?

Assuming you live in the District, you should help out this OP:

WOAH! Beef Jerlky maker here. I did not know there was such a thing as an artisanal jerky maker! I guess that since the economy is tanking here, i might be able to convince people to buy my jerky.
However, I do not live in the district. So there is probably no market for such nonsense out here.

To be honest, I try to eat low carb and jerky is a great snack. I find what is in the store suspect so I learned how to make my own, which BTW in insanely easy with the dehydrator. I'll have to read that thread, seems amusing!
