Looks like SSIMS is getting a new principal for next year.

We are considering moving and would like our child to attended SSIM.

My DS went to SSIMS (now at Northwood and enjoying it there), and he had a very good experience. He was not in the immersion program, but had friends who were. They were all high-achievers who were challenged by the curriculum, and they even went to Mexico or France in their 8th grade year. The teachers were as a whole were very caring and dedicated. We had one bad teacher, but he has already left. DS complained that it wasn't very fun, but I think he got a good education there. And the instrumental music program is fantastic!
