I did this last week with homemade pasta sauce. No fresh garlic so I had to use some powdered. It was a travesty.

I am trying to do the sensible thing and clear the perishables out of my fridge while we still have power.

All I have is a french press and I didn't have time to go to Safeway to get coarse ground. I'm stuck with the Starbucks fine ground and it leaves a gritty residue in my coffee when made in the french press. I just don't know how I'll make it through.

Actually, it's much, much, much better than Patron. A very special top shelf tequila we got from a local distiller in DH's hometown when we were last there. Can't buy it outside of Mexico or LA. It's a sipping tequila. I just like the lime.

I agree. I have a sack of garlic my father grew in his garden and would gladly share. (If you let me borrow your wine bottle opener.)
