Romney has peaked. It's all downhill from here

Do posters here realize that millions of people have benefited from "Obamacare" over the last two years? If the GOP repeals the program, the the GOP will then have to go out and collect the benefits these folks have received. Are they ready for that? Are they ready to rock up on the steps of someone's home and tell them they are going to have pay back these benefits? I know they are ready to rock up at someone's house and tell gays that they can't marry and that women can't have birth control, but I don't know if they are ready to tell folks that they are going to have pay back coverage of preexisting conditions and health insurance for dependents age 18-26.

Thank you Justice Roberts! I can't help but think he knew exactly what he was doing.

Always seeing the sunny side, aren't you. Everything is a victory.

Let's face it, you were always running to the polls. And since you have insurance, this bill does not change anything about your policy, except that preventive care is free and you can cover your kids when they are just out of college, on your plan. How horrible for you.

Really? For whom?

What rock have you been living under? If you are getting charged for well exams and immunizations, you need to ask for a refund because that stuff comes with no copay now.

Believe me, I'm not living under a rock and work a full-time job with a school system. I'm paying co-pays for preventive care.

Having no "co-pay" doesn't mean that the service is "free."

SOMEONE is paying for the medical costs through higher taxes and/or higher yearly costs for insurance. Health care is not free. As far as co-pays, here's an article with an explanation:

I can't see why anyone would vote for Romney. He is just like Obama, except wants MORE wars, and hates gays. Sad.

You realize that there have been record numbers of deportations under Obama right?

But preventive medicine saves money because it is designed to prevent costlier medical problems down the road. Decreased copays mean increased utilization which lowers overall costs.

I'm going to vote for Obama (again) but I agree with the conventional wisdom that this is going to be a very close election. Lots of ups and downs for both sides between now and November. Obama looked really strong in February and Romney had all the juice two weeks ago.

Today, Obama is back on top. Romney and his SuperPac friends (totally not coordinated, not connected, we don't ever talk to each other, really!) have so much advertising money that we may need to add TV station in Ohio to get all the ads broadcast by election day.

I'm not disputing what you've said here; I was responding to the PP who said preventive care was free. Nothing is "free"--someone is paying.

Obmacare will drive down costs, increase access to healthcare
This is not what hmo corporations are after. Hospitals even prefer the setup where uninsured are charged incredible fees. And do not think that the hospitals and doctors don't get their money

And you know what? Some hapless soul is picking up the cost. You think all those "free" doctor visits don't add up?
