2 theories for not fighting back:
1) he was also naked. Perhaps he was out of it on drugs and couldn't fight back 2) one cop said this drug can make people very strong - like someone high on PCP. They said it once took 6 cops to restrain one user who was high on it. I don't phase easily, but this is one story that made me think what an effed up world we live in. |
He was asleep when he was attacked and the attacker pulled his (the victim's) clothes off. Also, he's on the older side, and was probably in shock about being woken up with his face being eaten. So...yeah, I think it makes sense that he didn't fight back. I also read that the attacker was large and muscular, so maybe he couldn't fight back. This truly is one of the most seriously messed up stories I've heard in a long time. |

I cannot believe this coincidence, and I'm probably going to hell for re-posting with a smirk.
Directly from the NIH website: "Bath Salts", the newest fad to hit the shelves (virtual and real), is the latest addition to a growing list of items that young people can obtain to get high. The synthetic powder is sold legally online and in drug paraphernalia stores under a variety of names, such as "Ivory Wave," "Purple Wave," "Red Dove," "Blue Silk," "Zoom," "Bloom," "Cloud Nine," "Ocean Snow," "Lunar Wave," "Vanilla Sky," "White Lightning," "Scarface," and "Hurricane Charlie." |
| Zombies are coming!!!!! |
| You know, after reading about those two incidents, I have decided not to try "Bath Salts" after all. |
|
You're a shit OP. Why the whole zombies bit? This isn't funny, it's seriously fucked up.
|
I like a woman who makes an informed decision. |
Not the OP but Zombies were the first thought in my mind. |
I don't know if you watch the show Intervention (I am addicted to it, no pun intended) but they had a guy on this season who was on bath salts. It was the first I had ever heard of them. They aren't bath salts like Crabtree and Evelyn but sold in tobacco stores. I think they are snorted, if I remember correctly. Anyway, this poor kid on the show was fucked up! He has horrible hallucinations and extreme paranoia. He was constantly on his roof trying to "shoot" intruders with a gun he made from things he found around the house (the gun didn't work, but he thought it did). Here is a clip of his "extended" intervention (but it doesn't show the true problem he has). http://bcove.me/iiz00xrh I remember he went but came right home and wasn't beter. Also, they said just a year ago there were something like 12,000 cases of bath salt abuse and a year later it was more like 240,000 and people in ERs don't necessarily know what to do about it. They are legal and easy for teens to get. |
| This is why man invented hollow points |
Actually, OP didnt make it up. Several newspapers have been calling this story the "zombie" incident. |
so what's the allure? people want to induce paranoia? |
