I don't know if you watch the show Intervention (I am addicted to it, no pun intended) but they had a guy on this season who was on bath salts. It was the first I had ever heard of them. They aren't bath salts like Crabtree and Evelyn but sold in tobacco stores. I think they are snorted, if I remember correctly.

Anyway, this poor kid on the show was fucked up! He has horrible hallucinations and extreme paranoia. He was constantly on his roof trying to "shoot" intruders with a gun he made from things he found around the house (the gun didn't work, but he thought it did).

Also, they said just a year ago there were something like 12,000 cases of bath salt abuse and a year later it was more like 240,000 and people in ERs don't necessarily know what to do about it.
