So not surprised. Just amazed they finally got caught.

It's irrelevant that it's legal in Colombia. Secret Service (and other similar employees) can't put themselves in a position to be blackmailed, which is why any sexual relationship with a foreign national is considered problematic at that level.

No, it's not boys will be boys to be protecting the life and security of the President of the United States in a foreign country and decide to fool around with a prostitute while you're on the job. And 11 agents? Seriously? How did 11 agents have such collective bad judgment?

This. Bc we have done such a great job educating our own at home for innovation and good jobs that we should extend the long arm of american education to some columbiana.

No, you moron. I'm ColOOOOOOOOOmbiana (we're talking about a country calle ColOmbia not the district of ColUmbia) and it's so disturbing to see people from developed countries traveling down there for the sole purpose of exploiting our women and children. Just because it's legal it doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. You're OK with your "D"Hs going there to screw those women durin an official trip but when it comes to help a nation to overcome poverty you close your eyes. Great, I wonder what kind of values you're teaching your children...

It's all worked out now. Bill Clinton said it would be fine with him if they were reassigned to his detail....

This. They can't do anything to risk the security of the President. And there are hundreds of guys ready to take their place. I doubt you will hear a single objection to the firing from within the Secret Service.

They need to hire more or all women security detail. This wouldn't happen if the agents were women.

I think Michele might dump his sorry ass if he cheated. She's not of Hil's generation or ambition.

And not just in Colombia.

Colombia is a shithole mired with drugs, corruption and ineffective leadership. Like Mexico the only reason that country exists is due to the trillions of dollars theyve received from US taxpayers. Now go back to growing cocaine in your coffee plantations.

Umm, I have a news flash for all of you who are shocked by this -- it's been going on for a very long time! Secret Service agents and members of the US military have solicited from prostitutes for as long as their agencies have been around. The men who are involved can travel at a moments notice 365 days of the year, and or are sent to war or at to sea for months at a time. When and where do you think they are going to have their needs met?

I am married to a military officer and I traveled with Secret Service for years -- there is no scandal here, other than getting caught. I don't want to condone it but it is a casualty of their career and loneliness. If congressional hearings are scheduled, this will be devastating to many careers because of the number of people who have used prostitutes while traveling both abroad and in the US.
