Hey, how about "are you afraid of confrontation/raised voices" first?

That works. Your answer?

Do you have pale legs and wear black sheer tights? If so, knock it off please.

I think it's all according to what you were used to and how you were raised. Many white people (especially WASPs) were brought up in homes where dramatic expression of emotion was discouraged as impolite or undignified, so when we hear women being loud and confrontational we are afraid the proverbial shit is about to hit the fan! For he record, I've found that many of my white friends from other ethnic backgrounds (e.g., Jewish, Italian) are more comfortable with confrontation than I am.

Yes! The sheer black against pale legs looks really bad. Trust me on this!

Thanks for your honest answer.

Anonymous wrote:Not OP, but since she isn't answering, I will (white woman).

My ancestors are from Western Europe.

I think white woman are obsessed with blond hair b/c a lot of us were blond as children, so we still sort of identify with blonds. Also we probably associate blond hair with youth and definitely beauty.

I think white woman may be more open-minded in general b/c no one is intimidated by us, so we get to know a lot of people. I have been amazed at what people will tell me.

I am attracted to good looking men of any race and have dated black men. I am married to a white man.

I prefer a larger penis size than average, but not too huge.

Pasta and sauce served separately.

My vagina seems normal, I don't have a basis of comparison though.
I don't tan (my skin doesn't really tan, just burn).

Another white woman here. Agree with all of the above answers. One exception, I can tan, I just don't (history of skin cancer in my famiily).

White tights look way worse!
I'm white, I don't like blonde hair at all, neither does DH (also white)
And no I don't tan, at all. It sucks

On the blond hair, I have brown hair, but as far as dying from gray to blond, I think many women feel it looks more natural than the dramatic gray to brown. Plus the roots don't show as much when the dyed color is lighter. That said, white women are obsessed with blond hair (hello, Georgetown, where there is more dyed blond hair than anywhere I've ever seen) because most men are seemingly obsessed with blond hair. Not sure why. Because it's a pretty, pretty yellow? Luckily for me, my husband is non-white and thinks blond hair is creepy!

This is 100% correct. I'm Italian American and love a good fight/confrontation. I was the go-to girl in college for my WASP friends who needed an "enforcer" to call the cable company when they were getting ripped off, to complain about service to a retail manager, etc.

I wonder if that's why a lot of white women are so passive-aggressive? Without an outlet for their upset feelings (or an ethnic friend to help them get recompense), are they just brewing with anger over any slights they encounter...?

Haha, agreed! DH is not white and likes my brown hair.

Another white woman here. My mother used to raise her voice, then yell and curse, through the evening as she became more and more drunk. No raised voices in my house now.

If I am on the playground with my kids and see a group of white moms talking, laughing, chatting, while the kids play, can I just walk up and say hi? Are some white people weird about this?
Anonymous
did you or will you allow your child to cry it out?

have you ever clutched your purse in fear of a black person? crossed the street to get away from a black man?

Not the OP but I'm jumping in.

Yes, I have let both of my children CIO, not to the point of getting sick or screaming bloody murder.

I have clutched my purse in fear of a neighborhood/environment but not in fear of a black person. I have not crossed the street to get away from a black man.

My DH is black.
