This is one pet peeve of mine that drives me absolutely mad. I cannot STAND it when I see people flick their butts out of their car windows. Why, why, WHY??
And the beach...how many times did my babies and toddlers start chewing on a butt they found in the sand? Disgusting! It's not enough to have this horrible, filthy habit, you have to trash the beach and the roads? UGH. |
| I was walking into the FB metro yesterday. The guy in front of me flicked his butt and it hit someone in the back. It is so disgusting and disrespectful. He just kept on going down the escalator. |
Some crazy bitch flicked a butt out of her window when I was walking by her car and it bounced off my foot (sandals). It freaked me out and I responded out of pure emotion. I picked it up and threw it on her lap. And then SHE freaked on me - saying that it wasn't her butt and she was going to call the police for assault. I said "go ahead" which made her freak out more. She got out of her car prepared to kick my ass, but there was a small crowd there at this point who were supporting me. Thank god because she really could have kicked my ass. She got back in her car and drove off, spinning tires, etc. Anyway, I've wanted to do it again, but you never know who you are going to confront. It might be someone with even more balls (and guns) than you! |
This made me smile. Good for you.

Throwing a lit (lighted?) cigarette into a trash can will cause a fire. How do you propose they put out their cigarettes? I am not a smoker but it is a habit, a bad habit, and an addiction. I doubt seriously that anyone is going to put out their cigarette on the ground and then pick it up and put it in a trash can. I also wish that people would put grocery carts back properly, clean up their children's messes on park benches and seats in restaurants, and stop leaving dirty diapers on sink counters in public restrooms. Thank you. |
Yesterday it wasn't summer. |
If this is all you could get from my post definitely the crap you've been smoking affected your brain, not only your lungs. |

" I doubt seriously that anyone is going to put out their cigarette on the ground and then pick it up and put it in a trash can."
But this is what they need to do. |
You picked it up? Yuck. Good for you for standing up for yourself but I'd like to have heard that convo with the police officer and later the judge. Let me get this straight, you two got into a physical fight over a cig? Of course, I have seen people get into fights over shopping carts and parking spaces. |
Not a physical fight - just verbal. No doubt though that she wanted to hit me though! |
