Sadly, Newt is not on the ballot in Virginia and DC and Maryland have closed primaries. So, the DCUM audience is not very fertile ground for Newt votes.

Is it possible for someone to change party affiliation to now to vote in the primary and change it back before general?

Yes, you can before March 13th in MD & March 5th for DC and change it back after the primary. Let us all democrat in MD and DC do that. It would be fun!

Nice. And you claim GW "stole" the election.

We just want Newt to win the primary for entertainment in debates!

If the economy should tank this summer or fall, the GOP nominee may win, Obama is hanging on a tenuous reed. I'd much rather a President Romney than a President Gingrich.

You really think Americans are dumb enough to vote for Newt as President! You are underestimating the collective intelligence of American people! Gallop polls or not, Obama is the president till 2016.

Sorry 22:38. I wish you were right. I think you give the voters too much intellectual credit. I mean, look how many people have already voted for Newt. I don't know if it is an intelligence deficiency, hypocrisy, or numbnuts. But the possibility exist.

I suppose, but the spread between his favorable and unfavorable ratings (27/55) look as bad as Sarah Palin's in the summer of 2011 (24/54), when every pundit declared her goose to be fully cooked. So what's the difference between these two evaluations? I guess the most charitable interpretation is that Gingrich is a more talented, knowledgeable individual who, they imagine, might grow on the public if he gains momentum. On the other hand, the job of the press is not to provide accurate forecasts. Its job is to follow a story. And the story right now is Gingrich's rise in the primary race. So even if some poll says Gingrich is unliked in the general electorate, the story is still that Gingrich's star is rising.

I just wish he would go away. I would rather cut off my right hand than vote for him. I'm trying to maintain the hope that Americans are not so collectively stupid as to pull defeat from the jaws of victory by making that man our candidate. For the love of Christ -- even Santorum compares to Obama in polls better than Gingrich.

I am trying to cover the top of my computer so I don't have to see Newt the bully, oops fighter, or that Palin woman everytime I get on DCUM.

If he promised to be the first colonist, I'd vote for him.

So, I want to be clear. He supports Moon-statehood but not DC-statehood?

Also, Puerto Rico. He said if Puerto Rico wants statehood, he would work with them to get it. So, DC is behind Puerto Rico and the moon.

Sure, but we're not talking about "Americans", we're talking about "conservative primary voters". These people are the dumbest of the dumb.

I don't even think he likes other men. He's more of a narcissist and a misanthrope that a chauvinist.

You are insane because in a general election many people would vote for him as a vote against Obama.
