Anyone else have a bad experience with Photo Affections?

I also used living social deal. ordered on Dec 2nd never got a proof, called 3 times, emailed twice and live chat NEVER worked. on the 3 calls they assured me it would be rushed, just checked and said I should receive them by the 17th!! how is that 2-4 business days?!? the customer service is the worst EVER! how dare they not take calls?! and why put a living social deal if you can't handle it. so aggravating.

I ordered on Dec 2, and on Dec 10 (longer than promised) received ANOTHER FAMILY's CARDS! Terrible! I was able to call at that time and was promised rush delivery. I now see a note on their web page stating my order will arrive DEC 20. I placed my order Dec 2 because I wanted to get my cards out early with our new address...can't imagine they will be in business next year with this type of madness.

Supposedly Minted is giving people trouble too. Did anyone else see Angie Goff's (channel 4 news announcer) post about her experience? She said:

"I never write reviews or call out people.. but I'm sorry this is just ridiculous Minted. I ordered my Christmas cards in November and still don't have my order. Long story short- their cards are pretty but beware if you ever have an issue. Their customer service IS the worst I've ever had. I find it funny they're tweeting yet no one can return an email or take your call (robot told me my wait time was 93 mins). This has been going on for two weeks. A true test of a good company can be seen through how they communicate with customers when things are good-- and especially when they are bad. Minted.. you fail."

I am so upset. I ordered cards with Photo Affections on Tuesday morning. It said that my order would be processed and marked as shipped within 2 business days. Tuesday was 12/10. I just emailed them as they should have been shipped yesterday or today and they said they would tell the design team to "prioritize" my order and start printing within the day. Thus, I would receive the cards until 12/20. Are you kidding? I tried calling the company and they said to email them becuase their phone lines are too busy. They are not getting back to me now. I paid $8 for shipping to have them shipped out 10 days after. TERRIBLE. I will use a different website next year for Christmas cards.

Im in the same boat. Ordered on the 6th and they are "still printing".Customer service is a joke! IM SOOOOO frustrated! Calling my bank on monday to stop payment! Needed them by sat for my office party. Now I am embarrassed that I won't have cards. Live and learn.

I ordered the 6th as well and my order says "Printing in progress" - their website states that all orders placed on a friday (Dec 6) would ship tuesday. It's now the following Friday with no progress. I tried emailing twice, with no response. Their phone lines refer you to the website.
We usually order with Shutterfly because they send out their photos fast. We tried Photo affections because of the living social deal. We learned our lesson. What a waste. Never again.

It sounds like they didn't realize how many additional orders the Living Social deal would generate and can't keep up with the influx. Once they realized they couldn't make their shipping dates, they should have let customers know.

I have seen this happen to a few companies who put out the mass coupons. They get absolutely overwhelmed with orders and in the end it is worse for their business rather than better as they now have bad press and unhappy customers. More customers isn't a good thing if they are unhappy.

It will be deleted, but if everyone that reads this posts the link, at least as many people as possible will see it. The public needs to know about this companies practices.

I placed an order on the 5th and has been in the printing process as of today the 14th. I cannot get through to them via email or phone. and several times I have tried trust me. I am now starting to take screen shots of my emails etc, just hoping that will make me feel a bit better . bad timing since I have to send my CHristmas Cards not New Year Cards internationally

Went to Target website thinking I could pick up in store next day. When I realized I had been redirected I tired to cancel my order but there was no option available. The order confirmation said my order would be processed in 2 business days. Ordered 12/8, just found out my Chritmas cards will arrive 12/26. Tried to call customer service, unusually long wait message then was disconnected. Tried 2 more times, disconnected again. Never again will they get my business.

I have had the same experience as everyone else. Ordered my cards 12/9, and still show processing. I am going to contact living social about getting a refund and will have my bank reject the shipping costs I paid on my credit card. I will now have to send out an old fashioned christmas card (no personal touch to it), and I am going to spread the word not to do business with this company. Oh and all my Facebook comments are being deleted or hidden like everyone else...

PhotoAffections.com is a horrible company. DO NOT use. I order my cards on 12/6/13 and they are still printing, supposedly I will receive them by the 18th. But, this after several nasty emails. Not worth the money or time and yes, I bought the living social coupon. NEVER EVER again. I just hope to receive my cards by Christmas. So disappointed.

Wow, I used them last year and was pleased. I am so so so glad I did not use them again this year! The only reason I did not was b/c I had some old photo cards that I had never used, so we just took our own pic and slapped them on there - done. WHEW WHEW WHEW !

I am another customer duped by this company. Ordered cards on Dec 9th, did not ask for proof before printing and used professional photographs so thought the process would go without delay. WRONG!! Their ad states 2-3 day turnaround for printing. They did not at any time inform me that there would be a delay in printing or I would have gone with another company. I am being told my cards are not yet printed and it is now the 16th! They do not respond to my emails except to say there is a delay due to high volume. They do not have a a phone number that will get you to a live person. Just for what it is worth: their process for ordering is also flawed with misleading prompts and overpriced cards (I ended up paying 50 cents more a card just to end up having the backside with a patterned print...no text or photos just a pattern!!!! The prompts told me I was not upgrading then when paying at the end find out I have upgraded! I would have been very happy with white backside since my cards are already cardstock. We will see if I ever receive them. I won't be able to send until after Christmas at this point. UGH> Beware of this company and do not use unless you enjoy headaches, overpriced cards and delay in service.
