How much weight have you gained/lost since getting married and how long ago did you get married?

Married at 33, five years ago. I'm 7 pounds heavier now than I was then, after two kids (youngest one is 8 months).

Working my way through those last 7 pounds so I can fit in most of my clothes again. I'm small so 7 pounds is a lot on my frame. Doing zumba and eating a lot less.

DH, on his part, just tried on his wedding suit and it fits perfectly, no weight gain for him...

Married 10 years ago, at 23. 1 kid, 4 years old. I weigh six pounds more, but I am actively working on it (it was 9 pounds a month ago).

Married thirteen years (at 28.5). I weigh the same I did then...exactly...and the same I did at 20.

I gained 49lbs; 47lbs with each pregnancy--but dropped most by 4 months pp..and all by 6 months pp.

I think my shape is slightly different since kids. I used to have a teeny, tiny midsection... I still have a six-pack.. But my stomach protrudes slightly...it's hard.. Not fat.

Fwiw, I have run 5-6 days a week at least 5 miles and lifted weights 4 times/ week my entire adult life. I am a fairly healthy eater... But drink wine and eat steak on the weekends. I also eat chocolate. I believe in enjoying food... I am a gourmand!

At 41, two kids (3 and 6), I think I am holding up well. dH is solid muscle and is exactly the same physically as the day I met him. He is also an exercise addict.

Married for 14 years. Married at age 31. Three kids, youngest is 3. I am up 3 pounds over my wedding weight of 115 pounds. I have worked out most of those 14 years. However, my shape is different. More belly. Less bust.

Married at 32 , nine years, two kids, and ten pounds over my marriage weight. I am tall so not a huge change but enough to bother me and I am working hard at losing now that kids are both in school for first time and I am a sahm.

Married 25 years. I got married at 21 and weighed about 115 pounds. Five kids and 25 years later I weigh 112 pounds. (I only know this because I had a physical yesterday.) I am post-menopausal....I had a hysterectomy about six years ago.

And before I get slammed....I work my ass off to stay in shape. I run every single day whether I feel like it or not. And I do Power Yoga and Zumba three days a week.

Thank you, 22:10. I thought the same thing. Much different tone than the PPP directly above me.

I was 22 y/o and 50 pounds overweight when we met. Married 5 years later and I weighed 125 (underweight for my frame). Got pregnant 2 years later weighing 133 (my ideal weight) and gained 35 pounds. Baby is now 6 months and I'm 146...I'd be satisfied with 140.
