Enough with the "stores for poors" line

As a weekly Aldi shopper (which is the type of store I thought the OP was referring to). My DH and I joke that our Bethesda-based friends would be alarmed if they knew where our food came from!

PP here: meant to write: As a weekly Aldi shopper (which is the type of store I thought the OP was referring to), I thought it was kinda funny.

Don't like where this thread is going. I think it's time for some corn.

You sound like a foreign.

I guess because I read the original thread, I could see the humor. FWIW, I shop at Bottom Dollar (for food) and can often be found at Unique thrift. I'm okay with my life.

Because it's a joke, you humorless hoar.

8:46, "stores for poors" IS a derogatory remark. Something can be "funny," but still be derogatory. Just because it made you laugh, does not mean that you should say it.

Do these two know how hilarious they sound? "You sound like a foreign" is the next great DCUMism (after store for poors). Note that it's not making fun of poor people or non-Americans. It's making fun of those who make fun. That's what makes it funny!
