| I don't think of anything. I have a life. |

It could be a rental, OP.
Why do you care? |
| Got a minivan with first kid...preferred to have maximum space between my angelbaby and the bad drivers who might rearend my hatchback/sedan... |
| Got an SUV (not minivan but close) with first kid. We had planned to have more, but have since decided to stick with one. We are very happy about the purchase though because we do a lot of roadtrips and camping and often fill it completely. Actually, as we rarely drive during the week (city folk), the car is often filled when we drive, |

I hate minivans.
Signed, mother of two who drives Suburu |
| I would think they wanted a mini van and nothing more about the situation. |
| Seriously???? I am going to guess that OP is a lib "greeny"--get a life and hopefully a job that will contribute some tax revenue. It's too early to deal with the wackos. |
That's us. One kid, two large dogs. Plus, we like the extra seats for when grandparents and other relatives come to visit, or in a few years, when we will be carpooling with other families. |
That's nice. Now learn to spell the name of your own car. If you are going to be a snob, at least don't trip over yourself while doing it. |
| I assume they are interested in playdates because they have enough room to bring a friend in an extra carseat home with them from preschool next year. |

Don't be a b*tch. Maybe they want a big family. I have a SIL and BIL that had a minivan with one child for a long time. They just had their second child 7 years after the first one came. It was only then we found out they were having major problems getting pregnant the second time around.
Also- some people with lots of activities like them for the space. I have a family of 4 and haven't felt the need for one. We also live in an area where we walk everywhere. |
| Agree with 22:51 - we bought our first minivan when our first child arrived b/c my camry was on its last legs and we always keep our cars until they die --- so we figured we'd have the minivan for at least 10 years and hopefully our family would grow. We've had the minivan for 8 years and we currently have 3 kids. When DH's little honda died last year we replaced it with another minivan. FWIW, I couldn't care less what I drive as long as it is big enough to seat everyone and reasonably affordable. I don't get the whole status symbol thing associated with cars. And I don't get the whole "I'm more hip for squeezing my family into a tiny car" thing either. And I certainly don't get why someone would care if another family drives a minivan. Life is way too short to worry about such things. |
| I wouldn't think anything. I can't believe anyone would give a crap about this. |
You are a fool. Signed, mother of three who foolishly refused to get a minivan with 2 kids - drove a Volvo XC - until I had a third and then realized how great minivans were. PS - don't be such a smug bitch. it doesn't look good in a Suburu. |
| PP - I meant "Suburu"....ha! |
