| 30 lbs with both kids but I was slightly overweight to start. I find that more slender women often gain more. |
I weighed between 170-175 when both my kids were born, and I am normally 125lb (at 5'9). So 45-50lb. I would say it came off easily and quickly, but looking back, I walked ALL THE TIME during maternity leave. Like 3-4 hours a day. It was the only way I could get them to sleep, besides nursing.

| I gained 60lbs. 30 came off after birth (I was super swollen). Another 20 came off by 8 months without trying, and I'm still working on that last 10 1.5 years later. I started a routine last week to lose it. Its just not going to come off with little fixes here and there. Really would like to lose 20lbs because I was at the high end of healthy weight range when I got pregnant. |

33 lb. w/ #1
23 lb. w/ #2 (attribute smaller gain to running around after a 2 year old) I was about 15 lbs overweight before 1st pregnancy, 20 lbs overweight before 2nd. Finally feeling somewhat normal having lost all the baby weight from #2, and then some, in the 3 months post partum. Now just trying to figure out how to find time to tone this mushy, jiggling flesh! I agree that thinner women seem to gain more, on average, than those of us who start out with extra poundage to begin with. Makes sense, since the body naturally wants to build up "fat stores" to burn for milk production. |
| I was 5'6" inches and 120 when I got pregnant. Gained 20 lbs continuing my normal exercise and eating habits. Lost it all in 2 weeks. |
|
Gained 40 lbs despite gym workouts 4x a week and lots of dog walking. Took a year to lose it and then I got pregnant again.
So far, 18 lbs gained at 25 weeks. I haven't been to the gym at all and am now on "resricted activity" so no walking either. |

50 with #1-LOTS of swelling
20 with #2 I have 8 lbs to go until I'm back to my ideal weight. problem is, even though I exercise and eat well, I have this pouchy stomach that is prett gross. I'm thinking nothing, but a tummy tuck will fix it. |
| 34 pounds but I also delivered 5 days early. Who knows where I would've landed if I'd gone the standard 2 weeks late. |

24 # - 1 (and got admonished by OB for gaining too much)
25# - 2 I was a normal weight and exercised throughout both pregnancies. I lost the extra weight pretty quickly after both pg's. |
| #1 38 #2 37lbs. I'm small, my docs didn't seem concerned AT ALL. |

#1 30lbs
#2 and 3 (twins) 8lbs I was hospitalized with the twins on bedrest and they hadn't weighed me in a while. When they realized how little I'd gained, it was major freak out time and they were trying to get me to drink diabetic ensure 5 times a day. A lot of the reason for the low gain, was loss of muscle (and I'm not muscular but laying around all day waists your body). My kids are 7, 3 and 3 - I'd love to tone my middle and lose about 7 pounds. |
| 15:18 - you gained 8 pounds for your twins? That can't be right. |
I'm sorry, but do you suffer from an eating disorder? 125 and 5'9" is truly skeletal. |
| 45 lbs. Have 3-5 lbs left at 9 mo postpartum without exercising or dieting (but lots of energy expended taking care of DC). |
| 25 pounds with the first, 24 with the second, 25 with the third-all came off pretty easily once I weaned...I ran/walked through all three pregnancies. I am 5'5 and weigh 110 |
