Circus last night was great, by the way

I went too and also had a great time. Saw all ages and all types of people, in fact a very diverse crowd. For $30, had a ton of entertainment and my child loved it too.

The issue is how the animals are treated behind the scenes, not in front of the paying crowds. Do you really not get that? And you're calling others morons....

animals all seemed pretty happy to me. the tigers were getting huge chunks of meat, which they loved, and none of the tricks were at all outrageous.

guessing the elephants would rather be alive and well fed than being butchered by poachers. certainly my little girl loved seeing the animals.

You are proudly unconcerned with the well-being of animals. We get it. Very unattractive.

So, out of "respect for humanity" people aren't supposed to say they enjoyed the circus? And it's disrespectful to do so? Oooookay....

You are not fooling anyone. And now that you are being called out on your ugly disgusting behavior, you are trying to turn it around on other people. Low way low. Gross gross gross!

in an ideal world, it would be nice if all wild animals lived in their natural habitat. unfortunately that is not the case. so personally, I'm not going to ruin a good time worrying about whether the elephants would rather be roaming the grassy plains of kenya. can you enjoy a cup of coffee or are you too busy agonizing over the plight of the agricultural workers of Columbia?

If I thought they were being shocked with cattle prods to pick the coffee then I would quit drinking it. But trolls don't drink coffee so this is an easy one for you, isn't it.

I assume none of the folks posting about the treatment of animals at the circus have diamond rings right? Even if they aren't "conflict" diamonds owning one perpetuates the brutal cycle.

That's without getting into leather, meat etc

If it makes you feel better, keep thinking they are totally different issues and go about your merry life.

I did not post against the animals...I actually posted bc I think OP is a pig!

I don't own diamonds or leather, eat meat, go to the circus and try my best to not buy GE foods or products made in China. If there is something else I should be doing to promote a better world, enlighten me. I'm all for ending bad business practices any way I can.

This is just disgusting. OP, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Whether or not you're for or against animals in the circus (and I am against it), it's just rude to have posted this. I'm so glad you're not my friend.

It's ok, you are not perfect. Own it.
