DH made scrambled eggs for the first time, and...

OP, tell DH to use lower heat for the eggs. He'll probably have no sticking issues that way. And you can soak the pan for 10 or 15 minutes instead of scraping.

But yes, my husband can cook, because he was single for about 8 years, and it was either that or starve.

I use a small amount of olive oil when I make eggs, especially when I saute vegetables for an omelet, and am not obese or even close to it.

Doubtful. I've been doing this for years and am a very healthy weight and no cholesterol issues either My HDL is over 70! I'm talking about a very small amount, like a drizzle.

Woman here - I make eggs in a nonstick pan (I use a "green pan" from crate and barrel), melt butter in the pan before cooking, cook the scrambled eggs on med to med-low heat, and I still make a mess of the pan- which soaking afterwards never seems to help ...
And to answer your Q, my DH does make eggs, but I like my version better

Yes, but I can't cook eggs.

My DH cooks better than I do.

I think you will ruin any initiative, on the part of DH or DD, if you nitpick what they do.

Italians use olive oil to make eggs. I'm hardly close to obese - in fact, just the opposite.

Let's avoid olive oil but stop by McD's on our way home from work. . .

Duh??
good response . . . can't think of a snappier comeback?

You're the one with hardened arteries.

If my DH didn't cook I would starve to death and my child would eat nothing but fishsticks. I do however, clean up after his cooking. Of course, for some reason he needs to use every pot and every pan that we own.

this is my DH too! I can never figure out how he uses so many dishes in the making of one tiny little meal. But I don't mind cleaning up, as long as I get to eat the tasty food first.

Google Gordon Ramsey scrambled eggs. He has a tutorial that I swear teaches you to make the best scrambled eggs ever. You will NOT believe how good they are, and it's easy.
