BEST.TOY.EVER.
My son who tires of toys pretty quickly, plays with these EVERY DAY. He got them for his 4th bday and I wish I got them sooner. I think I might get another set for his next bday. My 2 YO DD loves them too... |

DD just got these for Hanukkah last week and she LOVES them. Absolutely her favorite toy by far.
She's 3 y.o. and we got the 100 piece set. She doesn't need them all yet, but we know from talking with friends that as the kids get bigger, they really do put all the pieces to work. Plus we thought it would be good to have more so kids can share when they play together. My sense from talking to friends is that kids play with these for a LONG TIME and won't get sick of them. They're also great for development -- spacial skills, open-ended and creative play etc. And I like the fact that they're not choking hazards for smaller kids. DD's one year old cousin was pretty into them, too, which was cute to watch. |

I've never seen them, and I've been keeping an eye out all year. No clue what people do with them when their kids get too old. Do they just pass them down to friends?? |

I've had magnatiles in my house for a few years now....they are good for all ages, however, it does crack me up that there is a choking hazard on them. I don't know how you could possible choke on one of these bad boys!!
Even today, my 6 YO ASD DS was having a jolly old time with them for a couple hours. Worth the money!!! |

My kids are in 4th and 5th and still love them! Also you might want to look at these:
KAPLA Blocks trés elegants from France, here. I have no affiliation with the company whatsoever, btw. But we all build with them--really relaxing activity to do with the kids when they are stuck indoors. |

| I agree these are great, great toys. My kids also like Magformers. These are better for age 3 and up just because they are not as easy to manipulate as MagnaTiles. The great thing about magna-tiles is that a 18 month old can build something. Magformers have some attachments like wheels which my kids love. At first I thought this would be less creative but I have been surprised at the interesting types of vehicles they build. |

| Well, I am the 250 Magna-Tiles poster and my kids, at 7 and 10 still ask for more. One day, when they have stopped playing with them, we will either give them to their preschool (through whom we first discovered them - St John's in Georgetown) or keep them for the grandkids. Another amazing thing about them is the complexity or the shapes and structures they come up with over time. These are the best toys EVER!!! |

I am a K teacher and my students love them. I also have them at home for my children and they play with them all the time.
