| these tiles look like fun for kids, do kids enjoy them? Also where is the most economical place to purchase them? |
| Have you tried a google search and compared prices? Maybe amazon.com? the MagnaTile website? Come now, be resourceful! |
| We have 250 magna tiles. My kids and all their friends LOVE them. We have had them since my children were toddlers and they are now in 2nd and 4th grade and STILL play with them a ton! That said, they aresuper expensive and we gathered out collection over a few birthdays and Christmases. I have never found a cheap place t buy them and looked extensively on-line. We ended up getting them from both on-line stores and Child's Play on Connecticut Ave in Chevy Chase, DC. I think they were very similar ($$$) in price. That said, they are well worth it and have stood the test of time better than any other toy we have ever had/seen. When my kids are done with them I will donate most to their old pre-school and keep some for grandkids. |
| Agreed, kids love them, but they are expensive! |
|
my son played with these at a friend's house and loved them.
i got him a 100 piece translucent set for $119 with free shipping from Amazon for Christmas. The amazon vendors change almost hourly so depending on when I looked they ranged in price and shipping charges. I hemmed and hawed about purchasing them and watched for a decent price to come up. |

this is as cheap as they get (and free shipping)
on backorder but expecting shipment dec. 17th. http://fatbraintoys.com/toy_companies/magna_tiles/magna_tiles_clear_colors_100_pc_set.cfm |
| I've seen them for $100 online-- check around. |

I got them for my youngest of 3 kids 2 years ago when the youngest was 4 and the oldest was 9. They fight over them because it is such a cool toy. Even at the age of 11, DS loves to create with them.
Warning....1 100 piece set is not enough...get at least 2 in order to build really big and cool structures. Big thumbs up from us!! |

| I bought some a couple weeks ago at edufuntoys.com. They are $119, and if you put in the code TAKE10, you get 10% off, plus free shipping. Came to $107 total, I think. |
No-now I am going to buy two sets |
| We have them and after we go thtem we were able to get rid of so many other crappy things becuase these are the best. |
| They are expensive, but very well worth the investment. My kids have played with them for years and still enjoy them. You're not going to find them cheap anywhere, so if you want them just get them from Amazon or your local toy store. |
And I'm going to buy three. I'm getting really tired of this donate to charity post. |
| Wow! thanks, everyone. I hadn't heard of magnatiles until today. How many sets of 100 do people have? I looked at the magna-tile site, and I wonder how many sets kids in their photos had used. |
