Your married life is different than mine! I usually read to my kids in my pajamas, and then I wear them while I’m making breakfasts and lunches in the morning so I don’t mess up my work clothes. I don’t think any kid wants to see his mom in a little flimsy silk slip. I also don’t want to clean blood, vomit, or poop in a little flimsy silk slip. If DH wants to take over these tasks, then I will wear slip. Since he doesn’t care about what I wear as much as he cares about not being the one to get up with kids at night, then I wear what I want to. |
| I wear very basic mom nightgowns. But I do have a few nightgowns designed to attract a bull. They are very effective! |
| I wear what makes it most comfortable for me to get a good night's sleep, which makes me a better parent, a better wife, a better friend, and better at my job. It also increases my life span, keeps my weight healthier, and improves my mood. I am not trading all of that in so that my husband can think I look sexy while I'm asleep. What a ridiculous concept. I don't exist to be an object of sexual attraction for someone else. Sleeping in lingerie or a silk cami and shorts is highly uncomfortable for me. |
Agreed. I wear my pajamas a lot and consider them lounge wear. Kids absolutely don’t need to see lingerie. My main reason for not wearing lingerie to sleep is that I need my shoulders covered. I just can’t sleep when my shoulders aren’t covered by at least a short sleeve. Dh has found me short sleeved silk lingerie over the years and I do like those. |
Printfresh pajamas are so ugly. |
Are you a guy? I love their prints and that style of pajama. I don’t look nice in a tshirt unless I’m wearing a bra, but those style of button up tops still looks nice braless. I wear mine a lot tighter than many of their models. I’m not into baggy pajamas. The shorts are also really cute on me and are pretty short. |
I just wear a t shirt and either pajama pants or athletic shorts. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant and have kid and I'm not going to be getting up to nurse or deal with a nightmare in slinky slips. My husband sleeps in the same kind of thing. My big pregnant self sometimes steals his pajama pants. |
| I run hot when I sleep so I sleep in just my underwear. Can't keep my husband off of me. |
| T-shirt- all those button up PJs are so uncomfortable, and the lingerie isn't practical when you have kids. I have a ton of it, which makes DH happy when I put it on, but it comes off so quickly 😉 |
| There are also a lot of men who couldn't care less. I once saw a man buy an outfit at Victoria's Secret for his woman and have to say my DH has never bought me any. |
| My MIL bought me a bunch of lingerie when I’d been dating DH for about a year. It was so creepy |
| I wear his old dress shirts and nothing else. Covered up enough around the kids because they are big on me and he thinks they are sexy - like in the old movies when the women had to be covered up on screen but she spent the night with the leading man. |

Pretty nightgown to sleep. Practical, season appropriate robes over gown, after getting out of bed and before getting dressed for day.
|
| My partner is my sleepwear. Until I get cold. Then on come the pjs and socks. |
