Do women still wear attractive sleepwear to bed at night?

Anonymous
Or is that a thing of the past? I think women underestimate how much men love when a woman dresses in attractive sleep apparel, intimate apparel, etc.; whatever you want to call it.

As long as it's comfortable, sure.

Are you talking about lingerie or cute pajamas like Lake pajamas or printfresh? I wear the latter and dh hates them. I think he’d prefer a shirt and shorts

No sleepwear for either of us.

Just FYI, no man has any idea of what those are.

And the answer is generally related to the stage of the relationship. Early on, maybe something cute. After kids, comfort is the only thing that matters.

I wear a big tshirt and underwear. My husband seems to like it. Sometimes I take the underwear off.

It’s not only comfort, it’s also modesty. Maybe if DH agreed to always get up with the kids during the night/first thing in the morning, I would wear something sexier to bed. But I’m not going to change at 3am when someone has a bloody nose or a nightmare.

I'm pretty confident most men will still experience desire whether flannel jammies or silk lingerie.

The lingerie is more a signal she wants things now.

Me too and my men like it that way.

If the spouse doesn’t notice or care what does it matter?
If you sleep better in ___ then that’s what you wear

No man I have ever been with have ever cared about this. Late 40s

I usually wear underwear and a long cami / spaghetti strap tight tanktop. It is decent enough if I get up in the night and comfortable and not an intimacy repellant!

This thread is just like a current one on the fashion forum. Where all the women think their dh is indifferent to what they are wearing, it’s so weird and delusional.

You have to put clothes on every day, so why not just put on something that’s nice?

There are super cold nights I’ll put on my flannels. But for just regular nights where it’s 70 degrees in our room, I’ll always put on a little flimsy silk slip or similar. Or or silk shorts and cami. Just as comfortable if not more so though than a cheap t shirt or synthetic pajamas.
