If you reserve in advance it looks like it’s $15 a day. (The other rates are discounted as well if you reserve. Usually if you start a reservation in the evening lot they offer you a discounted upgrade to the cheaper garages also.) |
|
I was just there and there was a sign saying it will be cheaper to pre-pay. The hike sounded punitive for non-planners.
--never pre-booked parking, but will |

first day? DCUMPoors do fly. duh. |
We've stayed at a nearby hotel with a park'n'fly package and used their shuttle to get to and from the airport. Can be worth it if you have a long trip that begins with an early flight. |
| This is what you are concerned about? Don't fly if you can't afford to pay for parking. It's about $30/day at DCA. |
DCA is also an easy Metro ride from the city. I've never paid to park there. |
what discount tricks? |
You pay for metro and the time you waste on metro, no? Time is money. |
No it's not. The concern is the rate hike %s not how much it's still cheaper than DCA. i bet MWAA hiked rates there too starting this week. |
The same could be said about price hikes for anything at any amount. |
Not tricks, just the coupons and clicking for economy and getting the offer for a cheaper rate in the garages. As far as booking ahead, it's always been relatively cheaper to book ahead. This isn't new if they're maintaining that. |
