Of course Pomona loved that!

Is Pomona the new Brown?

Spend summer volunteering somewhere in meaningful way and, if necessary, prep for SAT to get 1530+.

Isn’t prepping for SAT summer before senior year a bit late? I thought list kids have tested 2-3 times by this point

Is this a rural admit or was the farm an “urban farm”?

Why is there always a holier-than-thou poster who pretends not to care about college stuff and is always telling everyone to chill out but is on the DCUM college board on a Sunday?

Camp counselor.

I think schools are increasingly getting wise to all of the manufactured, overly curated summer plans that kids have.

100%. "Founder of a non-profit" is a huge red flag, as are many of these pay-to-play research and academic experiences.

Founding things is getting old. Because they then die the second the kid gets into school. Admissions officers are saying better to take something that exists and make it better than clutter the world with yet another new thing that it doesn't need. YMMV.
